What have I been up too...

Sometimes...life just gets crazy doesn't it. Everyone at my house has stuffy noses...allergy/sinus stuff. My youngest is teething (that is a guess-how do you really ever know). At 17 months he only has his front 4 teeth.

We had fun celebrating Valentine's Day. First, my Dad took us out to eat last Thursday (wanted to beat the v-day rush). We celebrated as a family Sunday night. I made heart shaped pasta with a red chicken sauce I cooked in the crock-pot all day. I served this with an Amy's spinach pizza. It was a yummy meal. Then we made chocolate covered strawberries and white chocolate raspberry cupcakes for our loved ones. This week I have snagged a bunch of cute stuff for next Valentine's Day on sale (yeah I plan ahead).

Also, I started a new book. I love reading. However, I love doing lots of other stuff too. So, I wanted to go for a book that was not as long as I typical read. Also, I wanted something that wouldn't make me cry. I stumbled across this book on Amazon. I decided to give it a try. It is super cute. There are times they explain cupcake flavors and your mouth waters. I am on chapter 6. I will report back when I finish the book. (You may have to give me a month or so...with the way things are going.
