Look what I made this weekend...

I made Josie a "J" shirt over the weekend.  I think it turned out pretty cute for my first try.  I also made a matching yo-yo with a button center for her hair (I attached it to a ponytail holder).


Josie was so excited, and couldn't wait to tell her teacher that I made her shirt...(she wore it to school today).

Here is a close up of the J.  I stitched it by hand...


Here is a close up of the yo-yo.


And...here is a close up of the stitching...which by no means is perfect...but, that just gives it character...or so I keep telling myself.



I see more of these in my future...lol
